Consistent, high quality practice across all screening venues is fundamental to the success of the NCSP in achieving its aim of preventing and controlling chlamydia infection. The NCSP Core Requirements include a set of quality standards that programmes should meet and which should be monitored locally. The NCSP carries out regular Quality Assurance audits and surveys to better understand which standards are being met, to support programmes in driving improvement and inform new or revised guidance.
